While a website may well be promoted through multiple channels and mediums, including traditional (and very expensive!) propositions such as television or print media, blogs are fast gaining popularity as a cost-effective yet highly beneficial means of promoting one’s existence on the Internet. If you think about it logically, blog promotion sure makes a lot of sense. Firstly, you are setting yourself up on the same medium on which your target audience is already present, viz. the Internet. Further, you are enticing them to your website and your product or service offering, in an extremely interactive and engaging manner which is difficult to replicate on any other platform.

While marketing costs remain immensely low, the reach of these blogs is huge. In summation, when it comes to promoting one’s own website, few methods come as close, in terms of reach and effectiveness, as blog promotion. That is the reason more and more businesses are choosing to promote themselves online, vide blogs.
